Can someone confirm this, you know when you make a PvP character and dammit you can't get all the skills since you got to unlock them in the main game. So I was wondering if I play through my W/Mo, E/Me and R/N, and then say delete one of them and create a R/N for an ideal PVP touch ranger, would the skills have to be re-unlocked. I've asked a few people in game and they said yes, none have said no.

That would definate the purpose of them being "unlocked" wouldn't it? Once a skill is unlocked on an account it is unlocked, doesn't matter whether the character that did it exists or not.

Also, more complete/descriptive thread titles next time please.

Once a skill is "unlocked" for your account, it is available for ANY PvP character you make.

PvE characters (ones that start at lvl1 and you have to level up, you know) have to buy skills, even if unlocked.

So say your PvE R/N got all the skills needed for that build. You create a PvP R/N - you'll have instant access to those skills to make the build. If you make another PvE R/N you would have to buy those skills for him again though.

Yeah you have access to all the ranger skills, and all the necro skills that were unlocked by any of your previous characters regardless of whether it was a Primary or secondary profession. This is for your pvp characters only.

As Former Ruling said, New PVE characters have to learn the spells independently, However If i remember correctly the non-elite unlocked skills for each chapter are available at any of the skill trainers in that chapter.

Someone please correct me if im wrong.

No correction needed.

Since ~Christmas the skill trainers have been updated to include any previously unlocked skill for that chapter. So you can buy any previously unlocked skills in Shing Jea Monastry or Ascalon

This isn't compleatly working for me. For example, I have "Heal Area" unlocked, but it does not show in Shing Jea. The vast majority of skills do show, but there are a few that do not. I have no explination yet.

Shing Jea limits the skills. They don't allow you to have everything right from the start.

Umm, I think the reason for that is that Heal Area is a Prophecies only skill. (It's identical skill in Factions is something like Kinai's Healing Circle)

I believe that you are correct. Once I made it to the mainland, the rest of my skills were there.

That was uncalled for, just because you suck against touch rangers doesn't mean he needs to go die, jerk.

I'm going to be like everyone else in every other topic and repeat what the first person that answered the question already said, because that's the cool thing to do, apparently.

Unlocked skills stay unlocked no matter what. Although, why get the skills then delete the character and make a PvP character? Why not just keep that one...other than being able to get perfect weapons quicker, but you could easily unlock every skill in the build doing RA or something with, o gnoes, a premade

Yep, just to confirm (again). My first character was a ranger. He got to the Ring of Fire before I deleted him. I recently made another ranger, and that character could buy every non-elite ranger skill in the game (all the ones my first ranger had unlocked) from the skill trainer in Ascalon City. It was a bit unfair on the Charr.
